Purpose of award: To award college student film or video producers.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must produce an original film or video in one of the following categories: drama, comedy, music, documentary, news, magazine show, traditional or computer-generated animation, children's programming, or commercials. Professionals may not be involved in the production of the piece, including producers, directors, camera operators, lighting or sound technicians, and production managers. Applicants must also be full-time students who have produced their video for course credit at an American college or university from January 1 to December 31 of the current year.

How to apply: Applications are available online from September 1 to January 15 and are also sent to college film and television departments.
