American Legion Texas Auxiliary General Education Scholarship

Are you a descendant or dependent of a veteran who served during the Grenada conflict, Korean War, Lebanon conflict, Panama conflict, Persian Gulf War, WWI, WWII, or Viet Nam? Are you a high school student living in Texas? If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, you might be eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship is awarded in the amount of $500, may be used at 2-year or 4-year eligible educational institution. You also must be able to demonstrate your need for financial assistance. Application requires letters of recommendation, transcript, nomination by a local unit, a resume listing any financial support resources you may have, and a listing of your extra-curricular activities.
